Before and After Care
Before
- No alcohol 24 hours prior to appointment
- No blood thinners: Coumadin, Aspirin, Ibuprofen 72 hours prior to appointment
- DO NOT arrive with a sunburn
- Botox will change the lift in your eyebrows, must be done at least 21 days prior
- Facials, chemical peels or microdermabrasion must be done 2 weeks prior to appointment
- NO pregnant or nursing clients
- NO anti-acne or anti-aging (RETINOL) products on the skin 30 days prior
During
- The skin is gently opened with a hand-held tool. Pigment is deposited with numbing solution at this time. Process repeated until completed. Approximately 1-2 hours.
After Care
- Your #1 job to obtain healing = BLOT BLOT BLOT – continue to push on eyebrows with Kleenex. Sporadically continue to blot until you go to bed. This prevents scabbing.
- DO NOT get eyebrows wet for 7 days. If washing hair, have a dry washcloth in shower to hold over forehead when rinsing.
- NO SUN for 14 days (wear hat/visor if needed).
